This website is a gallery of my work, mostly dating from 2008 onwards; there is a mixture of original prints and paintings, and reproductions of existing work. To view each gallery, click on the tabs at the top of the page. On (Re)Creating and Old Master, I have made a slideshow illustrating how I produced one of my old-master copies layer by layer.

I'm inspired by many things I see around the city I live in, and in the other cities I've travelled to. The work ranges both in subject matter and in style; this is because I'm constantly experimenting with new methods of representation.

I paint for myself, and also take on new commissions; the work on this site is just a sample of the things I've painted for people but hopefully gives a taste of the range of work I've produced (or reproduced) over the years. If you like what you see and would like to get in touch either to ask about commissioning a new piece or reproduction, you can email me via the Contact Form. I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

If you would like to see more examples of my work, there are further pieces on my page at www.flickr.com/benchisnall.
